QR Codes for Food Truck Menus

Today’s specials. Yesterday’s vinyl sticker.

The wrap and the window cling stay. The menu link does not. Sold out of tacos? Point scanners at an updated page in two minutes.

Create a QR code

Paste the food trucks URL. Download asks for email. You can change the destination after you print.

Where it goes

How people use QR codes for food truck menus.

Window and wrap

A printed menu on a truck is wrong by lunch. A dynamic code is not.

Festival booths

Point the same code at a shorter festival menu, then back to the full menu on Monday.

Preorder and 86 board

Send a line to a preorder form when the queue is long. Switch back when it dies down.

Next location

A card on the bumper can open this week’s map pin.

Why dynamic

Print once. Edit the link.

Specials without a reprint

Edit the page. The cling on the window stays.

Less shouting the URL

Guests scan. You keep plating.

See which events scanned

A code per sticker run tells you which night was busy.

FAQ

Is a PDF menu a good QR destination?

A live page is better. PDFs are hard to update in line. If you use a PDF, host it at a URL you can replace.

Can I use the same QR all season?

Yes. That is the point of a dynamic code. Keep the sticker. Change the link.

What about payment?

Point the code at a menu that already has Square, Toast, or your checkout. We do not take the order.
