QR Codes for Event Check-In

One poster. A check-in page you can swap.

Print the code on badges, posters, and emails. Point it at registration now, the session grid at doors, and the replay after. Same square every time.

Create a QR code

Paste the events URL. Download asks for email. You can change the destination after you print.

Where it goes

How people use QR codes for event check-in.

Door check-in

Staff scan a badge or guests scan a poster. Send them to the check-in form you are using this hour.

Session changes

Rooms move. Speakers cancel. Edit the destination instead of taping a new URL on the door.

Livestream and replay

The same foyer poster can open the live stream, then the recording, then the survey.

Lead capture at booths

Sponsors get a tracked code. You see which booth actually got scans.

Why dynamic

Print once. Edit the link.

Late program edits

Print posters early. Fix the link the morning of the event.

Scan totals by code

Compare door, email, and booth codes. Keep the placements that work.

Works after the event

Reuse the printed foam board next year. Point it at the new registration page.

FAQ

Should event QR codes be dynamic?

Yes if you print them. Ticket URLs, Zoom rooms, and schedules change. A dynamic code keeps the poster honest.

Can I use one QR for registration and another for the agenda?

You can. Two codes make reports clearer. Or use one code and change the destination when check-in closes.

Do printed event codes keep working if I stop paying later?

Printed /r/ links on this site still redirect after a trial lock. You cannot edit them until you unlock the dashboard.
